After finishing 4 years of education at the Haverhill Trade School, John Collins began his career working for multiple electrical contractors in both residential homes and commercial buildings within the New England area. Soon after, he worked for 9 years as a Class-A shift Electrician at both, The Haverhill Paperboard Corporation and the City of Haverhill Waste Water Abatement Facility. In 1983 he received his Massachusetts Class-A Master Electricians License, and established what is today John Collins Electric. Since that time, he has served as a local Electrical Inspector in multiple towns and was a member of MEI (Municipal Electrical Inspectors) Association. He has taken on many electrical challenges since the formation of his business, including the complete power and control wiring of large industrial textile machine processes and equipment, solution-based problem solving wiring methods in an ever-evolving technology-based commercial world, and the eradication of obsolete wiring methods in pre-modern residences through out the New England Area. In a fast-paced ever-changing electrical arena he will continue to provide quality electrical services safeguarding his valued customers.
